During the burning season in Chiang Mai between February — May of Thailand. Our boss Alexis bring us to Koh Samui, the beautiful island at the south of Thailand. This is the company trip in April for the entire week before Songkarn festival, and also we can bring our family together.
We have departed from Chiang Mai international airport by Bangkok Airways flight at 10am to Samui airport at 3pm. Our aircraft from Suwannaphum airport to Samui airport is ATR 72–600, The small by aircraft model with comfortable seating.
It is shiny day and clear sky when we were arrived. We stay at the Sangsuri estate villa with private pool and beachfront!. At our accommodation have 10 rooms, living room, kitchen, fitness room and swimming pool.
Day 0 — Welcome Dinner: The trip started by the dinner on Saturday evening with seafood and beef steak. This is a warm welcome dinner with delicious food and drink. 😋
After the dinner, It’s time to relax with the seaside swimming pool. 🏊♂️
Day 1 — Sunday Trip: Sunday morning, My plan is traveling around Koh Samui by a motorbike. The first place that we’ve visited is HACHIYA coffee roostery, this is very cute and awesome coffee shop in Koh Samui.
The second place is the icon of Koh Samui, Grandfather’s Grandmother’s Rocks AKA “Hin Ta Hin Yai” for local name. This is very hot here. So, We just take a few moments and go back to the villa.
Same day afternoon, We do a cruise trip on The Beat cruise ship. There are many activities on the boat includes enjoy music and dancing with DJ, take a break at Koh Phangan and dinner on the cruise.
Day 2 — The BTB Hackathon Begin: I’ve got a surprise after the breakfast on Monday. When everyone comes in the living room and ready to work. Alexis, our boss make us surprise by giving the Hackathon topic “BTB: Better Than Binance” to challenge by making improvement of our Yellow Exchange to make it better, exciting and attractive. The prize for the winner is $5000 with an AirPods Max for each member, this is jealous prize!

The first day of the Hackathon have full of exciting and many of new things to learn. Especially, I’m a newbie of exchange platform. 😂
Today, We have dinner at the SALA Samui Restaurant. This is cloudy here when we’ve arrived, It made me a good feeling. Windy, no rain.
Day 3— W Hotel: After fighting with the hackathon today, We move to the W Hotel before sunset. Everyone enjoys beach activities. We go kayaking, paddle boarding, take a group photos and dinner together. Sunset made more romance.
Day 4, 5— Days of Sprint: This is in the middle of Hackathon week. Every team sprint the tasks to make sure everything should be done before the presentation on Friday, because we need to do the demo in the production!
So, We eat pizza and one-dish seafood with rice for a quick meal and sprint the work until midnight. We never give up because dancers always entertain for every night with “Just Dance 2020”. 😪
Day 6— Awarding: Until the end of Hackathon. Every team work so hard and help each other, crossing team to finish our assigned topic. All teams made a great job and better than expect. We celebrate after the hackathon event inside the villa with a glass of wine, seafood and steaks.
For me this trip gains a lot of experience about the crypto world in a week by working on the real tasks with many top of the world crypto exchange platform. Everyone is a professional blockchain developer and I believe we can grow up and stronger!
